Business associations discussed the formation of a joint agenda for political forces and presidential candidates

On December 11, representatives of leading Ukrainian business associations organized a joint meeting to discuss the conditions and principles for the creation of a national united business coalition. More than 50 business associations representing enterprises from all regions of Ukraine took part in the formation of a national business advocacy campaign.
SUP and URB associations presented to the participants of the meeting proposals for the first top 6 initiatives, which were unanimously supported by all business associations and participants of the meeting. The list includes:
1. Substitution of profit tax by exit capital tax 
2. Reducing the tax burden on the wage fund
3. Creation of a single authority for the investigation of economic crimes, liquidation of the tax police and other economic units of law enforcement agencies
4. Introduction of paper free technologies: prohibition of state authorities to demand information contained in state databases
5. Demonopolization of heat and energy markets, ensuring equality of access of participants in adjacent markets to natural monopoly products and services, in particular electricity networks and private traction
6. Institutional reform of inspection and control bodies: introduction of personal responsibility, risk-oriented approach to inspections, holding open competitions for management positions.
