BUSINESS DIMENSION – PREPARATORY EVENT “ON THE ROAD TO URC 2025”

On the Road to Ukraine Recovery Conference 2025

On March 5, 2025 Italy and Ukraine, together with Lombardy Region, will host a preparatory event dedicated to the Business Dimension in Milan, with the participation of approximately 350 among Italian, Ukrainian and international companies. The objective of the event will be to explore policies and discuss operational tools which can be translated into concrete deliverables in view of the Rome Conference.

URC 2025 is part of an annual series of high-level policy events dedicated to the rapid recovery and long-term reconstruction of Ukraine since the beginning of full-scale Russian aggression.

The key goal of the URC 2025 is to raise awareness and mobilize continued international support for the recovery, reconstruction, and modernization of Ukraine, including from the private sector. The Business Dimension will aim at mobilizing the private sector for reconstruction and sustainable economic development.

As part of the event On the Road to URC 2025, the Union of Ukrainian Entrepreneurs together with the Confederazione Generale dell’ Industria Italiana – CONFINDUSTRIA will hold a roundtable discussion on “Partnership for Growth”.

The purpose of the event:

To introduce Italian (European) companies to real business opportunities in Ukraine.
To discuss investment prospects and challenges of the Ukrainian market.
To establish direct contacts between Ukrainian and Italian entrepreneurs.
Announcement of the event in Rome, with the main focus on research and real cases from entrepreneurs

The program of the roundtable includes networking and discussion of the following issues:

What is happening in Ukraine? Current state of the economy and business environment: which sectors need investment?
Key business challenges and case studies of Ukrainian companies.
Where do Italian companies see themselves in Ukraine’s recovery and when?

Roundtable participants: representatives of the Confederazione Generale dell’ Industria Italiana – CONFINDUSTRIA, representatives of the Union of Ukrainian Entrepreneurs and invited entrepreneurs from Ukraine and Italy.

The URC 2025 will bring together leaders of governments, parliaments, international organizations, businesses, local communities, and civil society and will be held in Rome on July 10-11, 2025, co-hosted by Ukraine and Italy.
