Company Visit to Pechersk School International
How can we build an international educational ecosystem that remains resilient even in times of the greatest challenges? We invite Union members to a Company Visit to Pechersk School International (PSI Kyiv) to take a look behind the scenes of the school.
Pechersk School International (PSI Kyiv) is an independent non-profit international school in Kyiv, founded in 1995. It is the first and still the only school in Ukraine authorized to teach all three International Baccalaureate (IB) programmes for students aged 3 to 18.
Despite the full-scale war, PSI continues to operate in Ukraine, ensuring continuity of learning and investing in a safe and modern educational environment for students and teachers. Today, the school is an example of how international education can remain resilient, value-driven, and strategically important for the country’s future even in times of major challenges.
A visit to PSI is an opportunity to see from the inside how an international school in Kyiv operates during the war, how academic quality, strong management, care for the community, and a long-term development vision are combined. It is also an opportunity to discuss the role of education in shaping a new generation of leaders in Ukraine.
During the visit, we will discuss:
- school management in times of crisis;
- energy independence and safe infrastructure;
- international education as part of Ukraine’s future;
- building a strong team and community in times of uncertainty.

- Accredited by the international educational accreditation agency NEASC.
- The only school in Ukraine offering the full continuum of International Baccalaureate (IB) programmes since 2000.

- 184 students from 11 countries are currently studying at the school.
- 56% of teachers are international educators.
- In 2025, it became a finalist of the SUP Awards in the “Strength and Power” nomination.
