The Union of Ukrainian Entrepreneurs launches the Conscious Parenting Club
The Ukrainian Entrepreneurs Union, together with Lilia Pochkun, wife of Oleksandr Pochkun, co-owner of the Glek restaurant, founder of educational and publishing projects, and mother of four sons (the youngest of whom is 16), is launching the SUP Conscious Parenting Club — a new initiative by parents for parents. We invite you to the first meeting on 26 February at 6 p.m.
Research in modern psychology and leading universities (Harvard, Oxford) confirms that during adolescence, significant adults outside the family play a decisive role — those with whom the child can identify, see different life scenarios, and feel pride in their family and origins.
That is why the SUP Conscious Parenting Club is a community of successful, diverse, and vibrant people who are ready to:
- be an example and a source of support for children;
- pass on a taste for life, work, and responsibility;
- show business from the inside — through their own stories, companies, and values.
A separate part of the concept is food culture as part of the culture of life. Through gastro-meetings, we will talk about quality food, conscious choices and how nutrition affects energy, efficiency and feelings of happiness.
We also plan to visit the businesses of club members so that children can see
business through the eyes of the owners, hear real-life stories of how the business was created and feel proud of their families.
We are starting with the parents’ circle.
Thursday is the day of Jupiter, the symbol of wisdom, development, and mentorship.
And that is what parenting needs most today.
