European Forum for New Ideas (EFNI) 2025 in Sopot
The team of the Union of Ukrainian Entrepreneurs (SUP) will participate in the European Forum for New Ideas (EFNI) – one of the largest international conferences in Central Europe, which will take place from October 15 to 17, 2025, in Sopot, Poland. The Forum, organized by our friends and partners the Lewiatan Confederation, annually gathers over two thousand business and political leaders to develop ideas for a strong and competitive Europe.
Last year, the SUP delegation presented the position of Ukrainian business on the European stage, highlighting its extraordinary resilience and readiness for EU integration. Key discussions at the Forum featured: Vyacheslav Klymov, SUP President and co-owner of “Nova Poshta,” and Kateryna Glazkova, SUP Executive Director.
This year, Kateryna Glazkova will take part in a key discussion: “Ukraine’s Resilience During the War – Lessons for Europe” which is dedicated to the phenomenon of Ukrainian resilience that has become an example of effective defense of democratic values in the face of aggression.
Date and time: October 16 at 4:00 PM (16:00)
During the discussion, leading Ukrainian and European experts and politicians will discuss:
- How the experience of military determination, rapid digitalization, and social mobilization can inspire the EU to build its own resilience to geopolitical and economic crises;
- Prospects for cooperation in the areas of security, infrastructure modernization, and economic recovery of Ukraine;
- The key role of EU funds, financial instruments, and public-private partnerships in reconstruction;
- Ukraine’s internal challenges – the stability of public administration and the fight against corruption, which are crucial for European integration and the collective security of Europe.
Also, this year the conference will focus on the most pressing issues for the EU and Poland: the search for new growth points, responding to security challenges, reconciling climate goals with economic competitiveness, and expanding the European defense industry sector.
The presence of Prime Minister Donald Tusk and other high-ranking officials of the Polish government is expected.
