Animal ID

Animal ID is an international pet-tech company that has been developing comprehensive solutions for pet identification and registration since 2011.

The project was founded in Drohobych, Ukraine, as a social initiative focused on pet registration and has since evolved into a global technology platform. Animal ID’s mission is to provide a universal solution for pet identification within an international database, enabling the fast and effective return of lost pets to their owners.

Today, the Animal ID ecosystem includes more than 2 million registered pets and over 2,000 veterinary clinics worldwide. The company’s headquarters are located in Dallas, USA, while the production of pet microchips and scanners is based in Drohobych, Ukraine.

Following the start of the full-scale war in Ukraine, Animal ID Ukraine has been actively supporting social and humanitarian initiatives. In cooperation with partners, the company has delivered more than 100 tons of pet food to animal shelters, distributed 322,000 QR pet passports free of charge through the Povidok.com social project, and provided 220,000 portions of pet food to animals in need as part of the “Gifts from Mars” initiative.
