Ma’Rijany Hemp Company
Company is a company that is developing the largest project in Ukraine for the primary processing of technical hemp to produce high-quality natural fiber and coir. The company’s activities will create the prerequisites for the revival of the traditional Ukrainian industry of bast crop processing using modern technologies.
It will become the only producer of long hemp fiber in Ukraine and the largest in Central and Eastern Europe for the textile industry. The company’s production plan for 2024-2025 provides for the production of 4.5 thousand tons of products processed from technical hemp. The company’s production facilities are located in the Zhytomyr region.
The company is also working on the creation of an industrial park, the area of which will be over 28 hectares. This will create attractive conditions for the location of industries that use products of primary processing of technical hemp as raw materials: production of yarn and fabric, building blocks and wall panels, non-woven materials.
The development plan of the industrial park envisages the creation of over 700 new jobs. The operation of such a park will stimulate local farmers to grow industrial hemp, which in turn will have a direct effect on reducing the carbon footprint in the region.
