The Head of the SUP Analytical Center participated in a working group meeting of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Health regarding the finalization of Draft Law No. 14110 (dated October 9, 2025), “On Amendments to Certain Laws of Ukraine Regarding the Regulation of Nicotine Products,” and its alternatives.
The discussion included Members of Parliament (authors of the primary and alternative bills), representatives from the Ministry of Health, business associations, and non-governmental organizations. Under the chairmanship of Mykhailo Radutskyi and Artem Dubnov, a lively debate focused on: a total ban on the sale of snus to minors, a ban on advertising, promotion, and sponsorship, as well as mandatory health warnings on packaging. The participants reached a consensus that the draft law should exclusively apply to nicotine pouches.
