On December 17, a public meeting of the Selection Committee for the post of Head of the State Customs Service of Ukraine was held. During the session, the committee reviewed applications and decided which candidates would proceed to the next stage of the competition.
Review of Applications
The Committee reviewed 42 applications and made decisions regarding candidate eligibility. Following a verification of compliance with the requirements of the Customs Code, 38 candidates were cleared for the next stage, while four were rejected for failing to meet the criteria. The list of candidates has been published on the official Cabinet of Ministers website.
Andriy Yerashov, Head of the SUP Analytical Center and a member of the Selection Committee, emphasized the vital importance of transparent and clear selection procedures within the framework of current legislation.
Next Stage
The next phase will involve anonymous testing of the candidates’ general aptitudes. The schedule will be announced at least seven days prior to the testing date. Final scores will be displayed immediately upon completion, with a passing score of 107 out of 145. Only the top 25 candidates with the highest scores will advance to the subsequent round.
The next meeting of the Committee is scheduled for January, with the exact date to be announced on the Cabinet of Ministers website.
This process is crucial, as an open and transparent competition ensures the selection of a professional leader capable of reforming the Customs Service and enhancing its operational efficiency.
