At the request of a SUP member, experts of the Center for International Cooperation provided a legal consultation on the import of green coffee beans from various countries into the territory of the selected jurisdiction (Bulgaria, Poland, Germany) and the subsequent sale of the goods within the EU, to Ukraine, and to other countries outside the EU.
In particular, clarifications were provided on:
- taxation of business activities (corporate income tax, income tax, etc.);
- value added tax;
- dividend tax and capital gains tax;
- accounting rules;
- recommendations on customs regulation.
The SUP research covered Eurostat statistics on the export and import of green coffee beans.
The purpose of the consultation is to provide recommendations to the enterprise for making a decision on choosing a jurisdiction for trading the relevant goods.
