We are delighted to announce the launch of a new SUP community chapter in Vinnytsia. This serves as an additional platform for regional entrepreneurs to exchange experiences, find partners, and collectively seek solutions for business development in times of uncertainty. More meetings and events for entrepreneurs in Vinnytsia are scheduled for the near future.

On December 18, the inaugural Welcome Evening brought together the local business community. During the meeting, Kateryna Hryb, Deputy Executive Director of SUP, spoke in detail about the Union, its values, member opportunities, and formats of interaction within the business association’s core activities.

Business Cases and Practical Insights from Entrepreneurs

Among the guest speakers was Olha Melykh, owner and director of the research and production firm “KVOTA.” She presented her company as an example of a family business with a full production cycle: from designing and manufacturing steel molds to serial production of plastic products for the automotive, medical, household, and packaging industries. The key competitive advantage of “KVOTA” is total quality control at every stage and the integration of traditional and eco-friendly materials.

The focus of her speech was risk management as a development strategy, rather than just a defensive tool. Olha Melykh views business scaling as a method to diversify risks and increase the company’s resilience during the war. Financial discipline, ISO 9001 standardization, strategic flexibility, and the readiness to pivot quickly became the foundation for the company’s adaptation in 2022. By prioritizing innovation and localization under the “Made in Ukraine” brand, the company not only maintained its position but also built the potential for expansion into global markets.

Scaling Starts with a System

Another practical perspective on business growth was presented by Zhanna Kudrytska, business process optimization consultant and founder of OptiCoreR. She emphasized that effective scaling is impossible without systems thinking. According to her, it is vital for an owner to step away from daily operational routines and transition into the role of a business system architect—focusing on strategy, vision, and teamwork.

Zhanna Kudrytska identified several key growth barriers for SMEs: lack of liquidity, talent shortages, and a lack of established processes. Business process optimization allows a company to maintain order, uphold its values, and ensure manageability during expansion, creating a solid foundation for sustainable development.

A Space for Dialogue and Development

Special thanks to Oksana Loyanych, founder, coach, and mentor at Alter Ego Business School, for her initiative, openness, and warm welcome. It was through her support and hospitality that the first meeting of the SUP community in Vinnytsia took place in an atmosphere of trust, dialogue, and inspiration.

We sincerely thank our speakers for their openness, valuable practical experience, and inspiration, as well as all the entrepreneurs who joined the launch of the SUP Vinnytsia chapter.
