Ukrainian companies can receive government support for participating in international trade fairs in 2026. The Ministry of Economy has approved a list of exhibitions eligible for state support.
Funding will be provided from the state budget under a dedicated program designed to help Ukrainian companies showcase their products and services at international trade fairs. If available budget allocations are insufficient, funds will be distributed among recipients proportionally to the total amount claimed for reimbursement.
Who Is Eligible for Funding?
State support for the informational and organizational arrangements related to Ukraine’s participation in international trade fairs is available to legal entities, regardless of their legal form or ownership structure, that conduct business activities classified under Section C, “Manufacturing,” of the Ukrainian Classification of Economic Activities (KVED).
This year’s list includes international trade fairs covering key manufacturing sectors, including food production, furniture, textiles and apparel, woodworking, mechanical engineering, electronics, and others. Particular attention is given to agri-food processing and innovative manufacturing technologies.
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must:
- have no pending bankruptcy or liquidation proceedings;
- have no outstanding tax or other payments administered by the State Tax Service as of the first day of the month in which the list is compiled;
- have no links to terrorist activities and be free from international or national sanctions;
- have no registration, place of business, founders, participants, or ultimate beneficial owners located in Russia, Belarus, or countries included in the FATF “black list.”
Funding Conditions
Funding is provided in the form of reimbursement of up to 70% of eligible expenses actually incurred.
The maximum amount of support during the budget period may not exceed 250 minimum monthly wages established as of January 1 of the respective year.
Eligible expenses include:
- participation fees, space and equipment rental, booth construction and dismantling, security, catalogue registration, electricity and water supply;
- costs related to the production of equipment, preparation of promotional materials, transportation, and logistics of exhibits;
- business travel expenses for employees, for a maximum of five people.
Application Deadlines
Applications must be submitted depending on the date of the exhibition:
- By October 31 of the current budget year (inclusive) if the exhibition took place between January 1 and September 30 of the same year;
- By April 1 of the following budget year if the exhibition took place between October 1 and December 31 of the previous year.
How to Receive the Funding
To receive reimbursement, an applicant must submit an application to the Ministry of Economy, a list of actual expenses (the relevant forms are provided in Appendices 1 and 2 to the Procedure), supporting documents, and a bank certificate confirming the opening of a current account.
After registration, the Ministry of Economy verifies the completeness and compliance of the submitted documents and, if necessary, provides the applicant with a deadline to correct any deficiencies. The State Tax Service then verifies the absence of tax debt. After that, the Ministry of Economy approves the allocation of budget funds and transfers them to recipients, subject to the availability of funding under the relevant budget program.
