Last week, the delegation of the Union of Ukrainian Entrepreneurs (SUP) worked in Gdańsk as part of the Ukraine Recovery Conference 2026 (URC), the largest international conference dedicated to Ukraine’s recovery.
URC is not only a platform for discussions. It is where governments, international organizations, financial institutions, business associations, and companies come together to find partners, launch joint projects, and make decisions that will shape the future of Ukraine’s economy.
For SUP, these days provided an opportunity to represent the interests of Ukrainian businesses, discuss entrepreneurs’ needs directly with international partners, and build new connections that may soon develop into concrete projects for our members.
SUP at the Center of International Discussions
One of the key events for us was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the Union of Ukrainian Entrepreneurs and the German Eastern Business Association. The document opens new opportunities for the development of Ukrainian-German business cooperation, attracting investment, and supporting entrepreneurs in both countries.
Kateryna Glazkova, Executive Director of SUP, also participated in the panel discussion “Cross-Border Business and Women’s Leadership: Polish-Ukrainian Economic Integration in Practice,” organized by our partners Konfederacja Lewiatan and Pracodawcy Pomorza. Together with representatives of the Polish and Ukrainian business communities, she discussed the development of cross-border economic cooperation, the role of women leaders in economic development, the importance of trust as the foundation of international partnerships, and practical mechanisms that will help Ukrainian and Polish companies implement joint projects.
Another important event was the roundtable “The Role of Business Associations in Building a New Ukraine,” organized by PUIG, which brought together Ukrainian and Polish business organizations. During the discussion, participants explored the role business associations can play in Ukraine’s recovery, how to unite the efforts of international partners, and how to create even more opportunities for the development of Ukrainian entrepreneurship.
Partner Events
Together with our partners Konfederacja Lewiatan, Pracodawcy Pomorza, and the Center for International Private Enterprise (CIPE), we organized two international events.
The first was the Ukraine-Poland Business Breakfast, which brought together Ukrainian and international companies for an open discussion on cooperation opportunities, entering the Ukrainian market, investment, and the role of business in Ukraine’s reconstruction.
The second was the international discussion “From Wartime Resilience to Investment Readiness,” during which representatives of Ukrainian businesses, international organizations, financial institutions, and business associations discussed what Ukrainian companies need today to scale up, attract investment, and continue developing even under wartime conditions.
