Japanese-Ukrainian business mission took place, organized by the Union of Ukrainian Entrepreneurs (SUP) as part of a two-day visit of a public-private delegation from Japan’s Ministry of Agriculture to Lviv.
The Japanese delegation included representatives of the government and leading companies interested in cooperating with Ukrainian businesses in the areas of manufacturing, the agricultural sector, innovation, and export.

During the meeting on October 30 in Lviv at the Kormotech company, Ukrainian and Japanese entrepreneurs presented their activities, discussed partnership opportunities, and established direct contacts. The event served as a platform for strengthening bilateral economic relations and seeking common directions for development.

The meeting was the result of cooperation between SUP (Union of Ukrainian Entrepreneurs) and the Embassy of Japan in Ukraine. The Union was represented by Olena Hemusova, Head of the Center for International Cooperation, who spoke about the Union’s activities aimed at establishing international contacts, developing partnerships between Ukrainian entrepreneurs and foreign companies, and supporting business participation in international missions, B2B meetings, and joint investment initiatives.
Visit to Kormotech manufacturing plant
On October 31, the delegation, together with Ukrainian entrepreneurs, visited Kormotech’s production facilities — a global company with Ukrainian roots that operates in Ukraine and the EU, offers over 650 product items, and is represented in more than 50 countries worldwide.
Kormotech is a leader in Ukraine’s pet food market and ranks among the top 55 global producers.
