On July 19, in Odesa, a meeting was held with the founders and members of the Board of Directors of the SUP. They sought the points of contact with local entrepreneurs, shared the main victories and plans of the Union, and real examples of why it is so important to unite entrepreneurs with shared values.
“Entrepreneurs are the most conscious part of society. Only those entrepreneurs who create values and are ready to take responsibility can change the situation in the economy and the country as a whole. Moreover, if you’ve managed to succeed under such difficult conditions, you can do everything,” – Oleksandr Pochkun, Vice President of the SUP, said during the meeting with the business community of Odesa region.
They could not ignore the topic of business protection. Timur Bondaryev shared the cases of several companies, in solving of which problems the Union of Ukrainian Entrepreneurs took an active part. The top 10 demands for the authorities, formed jointly with the members of the SUP, also aroused the interest from the Odesa business community. They discussed in details the tax on capital withdrawal. The Odesa residents support the need for its introduction and are waiting for the bill to be supported by the Parliament.
They also spoke about the image of an entrepreneur in the society today: “We, entrepreneurs, want to be honest. However, from the beginning, in our state it was so that if you are an entrepreneur, you are a thief. In order not to be a target, we in the SUP unite the entrepreneurs, identify the common core problems and work on their solution, jointly move them at the legislative level. We need to work to send a message to our state apparatus – they are a service, and they must work to create favorable conditions for us to work in the country we want,” – Oleh Spizhenko, a co-founder of the SUP, Spizhenko Clinic, said.
