A meeting with a delegation of Spanish partners took place at the office of the Union of Ukrainian Entrepreneurs, led by Ms. Clara Guzmán Zapater, Director of the Spanish Office for Ukraine Reconstruction.
The discussion focused on how Ukrainian and Spanish businesses can already cooperate today and in the post-war recovery period. Participants addressed the needs of Ukrainian companies, promising areas for cooperation, as well as the support instruments Spain offers for implementing joint projects.
How Spain Supports Ukraine’s Recovery
Special attention was given to the activities of the Spanish Office for Ukraine Reconstruction, established to facilitate the participation of Spanish companies in Ukraine’s recovery and to strengthen bilateral economic cooperation.
The meeting also covered financial instruments introduced by the Spanish government to support cooperation with Ukraine. In particular, this includes a €200 million package approved at the end of 2025. It consists of:
- €100 million in grant funding for preparing feasibility studies and project documentation;
- €100 million in loans for implementing projects involving Spanish technologies and equipment.
What This Means for Business
For Ukrainian companies, this opens additional opportunities to attract international partners, investments, and modern solutions in sectors such as energy, infrastructure, industry, and agrotechnology — all of which will play a key role in Ukraine’s recovery.
The Union of Ukrainian Entrepreneurs thanks the Spanish partners for a meaningful discussion and their strong interest in developing Ukrainian-Spanish economic ties.
