During the first week of August, another meeting of the Committee on Agri-food Business of SUP took place.
The following matters were discussed:
- Advocacy on the further progress of the bill on the legalization of medical cannabis, No. 7457, which was voted on by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on June 13, 2023, in the first reading;
- The status of resolving issues faced by committee members related to the blocking of tax invoices;
- Utilization of the valuable resources of the Union of Ukrainian Entrepreneurs and other institutions to assist in accessing foreign markets;
- Exchange of experience regarding obtaining grants for processing enterprises;
- Consideration of initiatives to address problematic issues in the interaction between food companies and retail networks.
Additionally, the participants of the meeting shared positive impressions from the Company Visit organized by the Union to Chernihiv, which took place last month.
