Representatives of SUP held an online meeting with the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine.
Union of Ukrainian Entrepreneurs assistant of CEO Tetiana Palamarchuk, and the head of the Center for Business Protection of the union, Anastasiia Hurska, spoke with the head of the Department of Criminal Law Policy and Investment Protection of the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine, Oleksii Boniuk.
The union provides professional support to its members in matters of business protection and helps to establish communication channels for a complete, comprehensive, and impartial clarification of the circumstances of cases, as well as effective provision of the right to defense and taking into account the explanations and evidence of the business side.
Following the meeting, an agreement was reached to hold an event between SUP and the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine, which will cover three topics:
- Cooperation between the Union of Ukrainian Entrepreneurs and the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine in the field of protecting the legitimate rights of business entities and investors in Ukraine:
- Existing mechanisms and instruments for protecting rights;-
- How members of the Union can benefit from such opportunities;
- Common mistakes in preparing a company’s legal position.
2. Proper documentation of losses suffered by Ukrainian businesses as a result of the full-scale aggression of the Russian Federation, with the prospect of compensation in the future.
3. Anticipated changes in the law enforcement system in the near future, in light of Ukraine obtaining candidate status for membership in the EU and Eurointegration.
