On July 17th, experts and participants of the Union of Ukrainian Entrepreneurs held a meeting with the heads of economic departments of the embassies of Poland (Artem Snopkov, Ruslan Perun), Germany (Alexander Honcharuk), and the United States (Taras Sauliak).
During the productive hour-long conversation, embassy representatives provided professional comments and recommendations on various current issues. Traditionally, for such meetings, the speakers emphasized the peculiarities of customs policies in each country and stressed the importance for Ukrainian exporters to pay close attention to accompanying documentation and adhere to all product certification rules.
Among other topics discussed were:
- Areas with potential for international cooperation of Ukrainian companies, including the substitution of Russian and Belarusian goods and services with Ukrainian ones.
- How to find business ambassadors for Ukraine in Poland, Germany, and the USA, or how to identify other organizations/projects that facilitate international B2B collaboration.
- How to find distributors for niche food products in the USA.
- Opportunities and advantages of participating in international fairs and exhibitions.
- Marketplaces worth exploring for Ukrainian companies aiming to expand in Europe.
