The Union of Ukrainian Entrepreneurs (SUP) held its first meeting with Oleksii Boniuk, Head of the Department of Criminal Law Policy and Investment Protection of the Prosecutor General’s Office.
Last year alone, SUP member companies paid UAH 65.5 billion in taxes at all levels and created 359,000 workplaces. And for the last four years – they have invested more than $ 3 billion. And this is only in the construction of new facilities.
During the meeting the executive director of SUP Kateryna Hlazkova emphasized: “Currently, it is important not to allow imperfect legislation to become an instrument of pressure on business in the hands of law enforcement agencies.”
After all, nowadays the business faces both the registration of criminal proceedings on contrived grounds, and, unfortunately, there are still masks-shows.
Among other things, Kateryna Hupalo and Anastasiia Hurska (Chairman and Deputy of the SUP Business Protection Committee) voiced the problem of non-compliance with court decisions by law enforcement agencies.
Nowadays, the issue of protecting businesses from raider attacks is also acute. And the representatives of SUP dwelled on this in more detail, as a member of SUP the company “Econia” suffers enormous losses precisely because it is the third time they have faced raiding.
We thank Oleksii Boniuk for a productive meeting and look forward to constructive further cooperation in overcoming the factors that hinder the work and investment of business today.
